Modernising a trusted partner
The Housing Trust was formed in the Illawarra in 1983 to prevent homelessness by providing community housing. Today they maintain a portfolio of nearly 1000 properties and provide housing and services to more than 2000 people.
Joining forces with The Housing Trust we gave the organisation a much-needed brand refresh, allowing them to better communicate their services to a growing community.
The project insights lead us to create an online home for social housing, and this became the major focus and communication channel. Facing unique challenges along the way with varied user experiences required, from the person looking for help in a time of need, through to a funding body seeking confirmation of professional governance, we created a website that allows for multiple departments to have an area they could independently own and manage.
Working closely with The Housing Trusts internal teams to better understand the unique areas of the organisation, resulted in a bespoke user experience and a brand that allows their services to thrive and provide a decent home for everyone in need.
